As a teacher, I can go by the content standards while doing fun things with the children such as learning songs for memorization as well as some other things. Using behaviorism in classrooms with smaller children such as kindergarten and first grade it is important that you have control over your students because they can and will walk all over you and it is our job to not let that happen. By using behaviorism, I would use it by giving kids a sticker on a paper for a good grade, or giving them a prize at the end of the day for good behavior. I also think constructivism is important because in a classroom full of five and six-year-olds it is hard for them to keep their focus and they will not sit in a chair all day and be lectured.
