First off, I would like to congratulate you on being sober for two years! And, I want to thank you for sharing your personal journey with us. I have been sober for 10 + years, I had a series of rock bottoms before becoming sober. What I needed to get sober was the true desire to change and AA inspired me beyond just staying sober, it changed me as a person. The program has taught her to be more open and honest, to sympathize with people and to look at things differently. It has changed my whole life. In my journey, I have met my husband and have had 6 children and now working towards a degree in Human Services, and become a counselor and help those in their own personal journey.
