Why I Love Podcast Research Paper

I love podcasts, but more importantly I love podcasting. For one, podcast is akin to making your own radio/tv show which you release on some arbitrary schedule. They vary and still accessible to anyone who owns a smart phone (even the with old blackberry supports podcast). And now, I look back why I started my 010 music podcast.

I've been listening to a ton of podcasts, including and not limited to: Start-up by Gimlet, Spinning Session by Spinning Record, Stuff You Should Know by How Stuff Work, TEDtalk by TED, BBC World Service by BBC, Freakanomics by Stephen J.Dubner, and Hardcore History by Dan Carlin. You can say I have a lot in my plate for 1 guy, but that reflects my interest and also a goal to make my podcast into one of these giants of podcasting... maybe not that big. the show Start-up and Spinning Session are my direct inspiration for making my podcast, one is about getting a new business up and running with all the behind the scenes exposed, and the other about new music (particularly EDM) being shown. I love these shows, and I wanted to make one that reflects my interest as well as my changing taste and love of experimentation.

If you listened to my podcast episode 1-5 as well as 8 (and soon 20 and 32 and 44 and all could be found in mixcloud) you will notice my early "style" then I shifts to a more cut and paste approach as the number reach the double digits (No. 15 is the most noticeable). These are my documented changes as I challenge myself to do a mix once a month. Also if you looked at the notes, there are changes to the style I do within the EDM genre: Chillstep, deep house, trap, hip hop, chiptune and other various other fusion and sometime not even EDM. My podcast is my medium for experimentation and learning about music, radio production and podcasting in

An Immigration Story For my creative writing piece I decided to focus on the genre of podcasts. Podcasts are a common medium used to inform and interact with an audience. I choose to do a podcast because my topic at hand, immigration, can be very broad and contains a lot of information. The video format allowed for a more direct connection to the audience. Though the general public could be considered the audience for this piece, I found it more important to target an audience less informed with immigration.…
