India. Like many other immigrants around the world, this was a dream come true for me and my family.
However, after a year, I decided to join the U.S Navy to enhance and accelerate my life. I was a Hospital
Man Corpsman in the Navy and had the best job in the world. During my eight years in the Navy
medicine, I took care of thousands of Marines and sailors around the globe in regard to their basic
health. I also worked in various laboratories and departments in the hospital but it was always the

After serving for eight years, I left the military to pursue that passion and I have never looked
Honestly, I have to admit that transitioning from the military into civilian life after eight was not
a very smooth one. My first Fall semester in 2012 was not a steady one. I overloaded myself with too
many science classes for which I felt the burden later as I progressed through my semester. But later, as
time passed, I took a grip on myself and started doing better gradually. In the spring of 2015, my name

My medical experience in the Navy and my passion for making a difference in other people's life
through health care is what motivates me to work harder and I truly believe that through the SUU
nursing program, I can achieve much more greatness. In the future, not only would I like to pursue
higher nursing programs but I would also like to make a difference in my community and around the
world through healthcare. Just as I opened a club at SUU and made an impact globally, I would like to do
the same through SUU nursing program. My objective would be to start a "program “in which various
doctors, nurses, educators and students can come together and input their expertise to make a
difference in the community and around the world. Through the program, the medical professionals and
students would travel every year to different parts of the world to provide healthcare to the
underprivileged. I believe that through hard work and determination and getting accepted at the SUU
Nursing program, I can achieve my aspiration for the future and make a difference in my community as
well as around the
