It was 4 am I went downstairs to get a glass of water. As I filled the cup, I heard a strange sound. I figured it was just the sound of the wind blowing through the small netted screens. It did not bother me, so I went back to bed. The next morning I woke up at six am, I had to go to school, there was midterms today, and I did not get very much sleep. I had kept hearing a strange growl coming from outside. As I started to walk to school my phone started buzzing, I pulled it out of my pocket, it was my mom. She called to tell me school had been canceled. She told me do not ask any questions just start walking back home. I put my headphones back on and started listening to the radio like I always did on the way home from school. My …show more content…
They were all around me just like a swarm of bees. There was a ammunition supply shop not too far from here. I had started running to the ammunition shop. There was a bunch of weapons, but I did not know which one would work the best. I had chose my weapons, it was a bat with spikes. I had to get to the nuclear tower, so that I could stop the swarm of zombies. I had only heard that the president could use the nuclear button, but as I can’t make contact with the president. I live in Washington, so I am close to the White House, but security will be my biggest threat. I opened the door of the ammunition store only to be ambushed by a zombie right outside the door. It had jumped right at me. I was unable to reach my bat, I was holding the zombie off fearing for my life. As I thought this was the end I heard gunshots unaware where they had came from. It was my neighbor Mr.Reed, had said, “hey kid are you ok?” I had said, “yes sir, you saved my life.” Mr. Reed responded back, “I had always knew this would happen one day.” I asked Mr.Reed, “what were you doing out of your house?” Mr. Reed said, “I was going to find the nuclear button, so this zombie madness can be over, but it won’t be easy.” I had told Mr. reed, we need to start heading to the white house, but security will be tight.” We ran to the White House. There was guards everywhere including the swat. I said to Mr.Reed, there is a lot of guards here.” Mr.Reed said, “you are not kidding.” I thought in my head we had to find something to distract the guards. As I had made a run for the gate, there was a guard standing right inside the security booth. I looked around for a stone on the ground. My heart felt like it was racing, just as I through the stone I heard a growl I looked around. There appeared to be nothing there, I gave Mr.Reed the sign to make sure he knew it was time to head
