Personal Narrative Essay: One Direction

Superior Essays
I don’t look like a pop star or anyone they would ever put on tour with One Direction. I could imagine maybe some c list band asking me but never One Direction. I am not that skinny. I am just pretty average. I am about 5’3 and weigh around 140 pounds. I kinda have baby fat. I have a curly mess of hair similar to Harry Styles actually. But mine is a dark dirty blonde. And I have a round face with greyish blue eyes. I am so nervous. I mean I just turned 18 and I am the opening act for One Direction? All I did was post a video on YouTube about four years ago (back before the start of freshmen year) of me singing Hey Jude by the Beatles. I glanced over at it. Kian texted me.
Kian: We’ll be there in like 5 minutes I slide my phone back in my pocket. Kian and Jc had to pick me up to bring me to where Paul would meet me. (Paul is One Directions manager). I don’t have a car. I lugged my suitcase and duffle bag and guitar out of my apartment and down the stairs. I watched out the window waiting for them to arrive. Jc pulled up out of nowhere with Kian in the front seat beside him. I threw my stuff in the back seat. We listened to the radio for a while. The ride wasn’t long but it felt like an eternity with no one talking. Kian peeked back at me.
“ Casper? You’re gonna text us right?” Kian asked. I nodded. I know Kian has a little crush on me. His friend Sam Pottorff told me.
“Yeah of course!” I said. Kian smiled at my answer. Jc looked up in the rearview mirror.
“You know we are coming to see you?” Jc asked. I looked up from my phone.
“When?” I

Detective Murphy is a no nonsense type of man. A gruff demeanor that demands to get down to business no matter what. I’m sure it’s only heightened by being called to a crime scene for a robbery and shooting, in the middle of a Friday night.
