Why I Deserve The Death Penalty

Death Penalty
I killed thousands of people. Do I deserve to die? I think that anyone who deserves the death penalty should be killed by a firing squad. But that is my opinion.

In one case of the Cheshire Home Invasion. Two men broke into a house raped the girls and killed the family. I can’t imagine in any way that that says innocence. My opinion they should be shot to death. The outcome was life in prison. They still get 3 meals a day. They killed a family. They deserve to die of starvation.

Another crime was James Holmes. He killed 12 people and injured 70. He got life in a mental institute. A mental institution is a place for insane people. He was mentally aware that he killed those people. He should be held in death row until he is sentenced

In 2003, Andre Thomas viciously attacked and killed his ex-wife and her two children, and was sentenced to death row. His defense argued that he was not eligible for death row because of his mental state. The court ignored the argument and passed it off, saying that they were using his illness as an excuse to “get out of” maximum punishment. As demonstrated in this case, mental illness is not given the attention it deserves when determining a sentence. Cases such as these have aroused concern how fair the criminal court is towards the mentally ill.…

My view is that serial killers can’t be rehabilitated, killers such as Holmes, Bundy, Dahmer, etc. cannot change and cannot be rehabilitated into normal society. There has been many studies that research on new methods to help and prevent serial killers (psychopaths) from their behavior. Many of the serial killers know how to play the role once they are in prison, and we know that once they are in prison they aren’t coming back out, so why waste resources on killers who are irredeemable. If a serial can or cannot be rehabilitated should should not really matter, when a human being or killer psychopath whatever label we want to put on it intentionally and knowingly hurts and murders another person in a brutal and sadistic manner with the knowledge…

Introduction- thesis Serial killers have been treated the same throughout the years for the most part, but many have been proven to have some form of psychological disorders. Although they have done wrong things, it does not mean we should treat them inhumanely- they are people! Serial killers deserve to have psychological treatment and should not be denied that opportunity because of the heinous things they may have done, because of these disorders. The right to an education should not be denied because these people have made poor decisions in their life either. Serial killers are people too, and don't deserve to be treated differently than anyone else.…

Finally, the criminal justice should treat everyone equal despite their morality beliefs. Even though the crimes may look like they were committed for the greater good, it doesn 't stop from being a crime. Taking an innocent life will never be good. A good act should be helping people, not killing them. Killing people should never be counted as a “compassion” act, it should never have a lenient law.…

Death Penalty The Death penalty is a highly controversial topic in present day politics. The public is concerned with how America’s most dangerous criminals are held responsible for their crimes as well as how they will be kept from harming others. It’s reasonable to want a mass murderer to be punished in a manner that removes further threat, but is it our place to decide if his or her life should be ended? In other words, is it moral for society to prescribe murder as retribution for murder?…

They murdered people in service of the most evil being on the planet, so of course they deserve life in prison or some equivalent to that, but they should still be treated with respect and dignity. People, regardless of what they’ve done, are still people and should be treated as such. Only complete monsters or rapscallions: the people who’ve only done bad things, the people with no remorse, the people who can only ever fit into our “bad” categories, should be treated inhumanely or as if nothing they could ever do would be…

For many years, people have questioned whether or not the death penalty should still be in effect. There have been many issues trying to decide if it is immoral or not. According to recent studies, 63 percent of people are in favor of this unfair punishment. This in an incredibly large amount if you look at all the actions previously taken to abolish the death penalty. Many people I have talked to about this penalty say they’re not for it because “it’s wrong to take a life,” or, “they shouldn’t get out of it so easy.…
