It was about a month later I found myself overcome with joy when I received a phone call from Human Resources at St. Luke’s, asking if I was still interested in a job position in the OR. A week later, I was offered the job at St. Luke’s Bethlehem as an operating room nurse. Since then, I have started my six to nine months of orientation. I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to be a part of the OR team. I am learning so much and enjoying the experience also, finding out St. Luke’s offers a tuition assistance program that I was hoping for, will make college more affordable. Now, I find myself ready to continue my education in pursuit of achieving my BSN. I am currently working a full time job, newly married and looking for a BSN program that would be a good fit for where I am in life. After talking to several co-workers, I found Colorado Christian University would be the perfect fit for my busy schedule, as they offer an online program. It is important to me to achieve my BSN, before starting a family. I would like to accomplish this goal within the next two to three
