Why I Chose To Be My Second Choice

My first choice would be SAFN (Society for Anthropology for Food and Nutrition). The reason why I chose this to be my first choice is because food is important and different meals we eat do not just appear. My foods that we eat come from different cultures around the world and are from different time periods.

The reason that I chose AQA (Association for Queer Anthropology) to be my second choice is because gay marriage has been an important topic lately. I would join this group because it is something that should be studied into. This group researches education on homosexuality and bisexuality that intersects with race and class. The group encourages diversity within the AAA (American Anthropological Association).
