Why I Chose Pharmacy Research Paper

The most important aspect of my life is my faith. My faith has greatly impacted my past and has made me into the person I am today. My education, career, and future plans are all very closely intertwined to my relationship with God. As a Christian, I have specific morals and goals in life that can all be met as I pursue and obtain a pharmacy degree at South Dakota State University. My love of learning, is one of the many reasons that I am pursuing a pharmacy degree. Throughout high school, I have discovered my love for not only learning in general, but also for science and math. Science allows humans to better understand the world around them. This understanding means that we can make the world safer and better suited to fit our needs. Math is closely intertwined with science and provides us with building blocks to continue to learn more about the world. Throughout high school, I also discovered my passion for chemistry. Becoming a pharmacist requires a great deal of schooling and a love for all of these subjects. As a pharmacist, I would be able to go to work and do something that I have a great deal of passion for every single day. These reasons are all a result of my faith and relationship with God. As a pharmacist, I would have a profession that pertains to my greatest areas of interest. I would have the opportunity to take part in research or develop new medications. A Doctorate of Pharmacy would provide me with a variety of career opportunities. South Dakota State University offers an exceptional curriculum for pharmacy students, that would assist me in becoming the best pharmacist that I can be.
