Why I Chose Nursing

I always wondered what I was going to be, when I was younger I had all kinds of crazy ideas of wanting to be so many different professions. In my high school year’s, I wanted to go into nursing because a few of my neighbors were nurses or in the health care field and I had heard it was a good job to go into. I have many values that are very important to me but helping others and trying to make the world a better healthier place is high on my priorities. Also, I had volunteered at a hospital to get a feel and watch everything in action; I really enjoyed it and it helped me realize that I might not have been as interested in nursing as I thought I was. I’m still very drawn to health care and have ruled out the business world. My support system
