Ever since I was a little girl I have always been interested in helping people. As I got older I was introduced into more hands on experience by helping my uncle with his medications, I checked his blood sugar, gave insulin shots, and gave him his medicine. In helping him I realized I might be interested in going into the nursing field but didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do. A couple of years ago I went Christmas caroling at the nursing home and fell in love with being around the elderly. Just the smile and happiness they got when we sang and when I talked to them and spent quality time with them made me so happy.
