Ever since I was a little girl I have always been interested in helping people. As I got older I was introduced into more hands on experience by helping my uncle with his medications, I checked his blood sugar, gave insulin shots, and gave him his medicine. In helping him I realized I might be interested in going into the nursing field but didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do. A couple of years ago I went Christmas caroling at the nursing home and fell in love with being around the elderly. Just the smile and happiness they got when we sang and when I talked to them and spent quality time with them made me so happy. During my last year of high school I am attending Kiamichi Technology Center; I am currently enrolled in the CNA program which

In All nursing education programs though, students will need to take courses in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, chemistry, and psychology. For a total of 120-123 credit hours. The two best colleges in Oklahoma for a Nursing degree are Murray state college , which is located in Tishomingo Oklahoma, and East central University, which is located in Ada Oklahoma.
