Why I am qualified for Dorsey’s Practical Nursing Program

I am qualified for the Practical Nursing Program because I have all the necessary qualifications for becoming a nurse. I am kind, loving, patient, short-tempered, compassionate, gentle and all about comfort for the patients. I take great pride in what I do as a CNA, I believe that I could make a difference as a Nurse in the field.

Why Did I choose nursing as a career?

Truthfully, I can say that I have never thought about going into any other field. The healthcare field always interested me and intrigued me. The knowledge to help people is a beautiful knowledge that actually is learned more so for the benefit of others. It is there to help people with an array of different things when they are the most vulnerable, sickness, recovery, demented, but also there to help heal and aide and support the patient. I choose specifically nursing in the medical field for the reasons of the level of patient contact the feeling of actually helping

Nursing in the healthcare field is a very important job, just as CNAs are the eyes and ears of the Nurse, the Nurse is the eyes and ears of the Physicians and are the ones with direct contact with them. With that said, nurses have a very imperative role and play a big part in the successful caring for an individual patient with their day-to-day wants and needs and making them comfortable whether they are staying with you for a day, month or for the rest of their life. The interaction of the nurse with the patient is also very important in my personal philosophy of nursing, the stories of the patients lifetime, the connections that you create with your patients, like I said before an intrapersonal personality or ability to have compassion for someone else is extremely important in this field, and I believe that is what defines a good
