I would be a beneficial candidate to receive this award because of my constant determination to succeed in school, pursuit of an undergraduate degree in nursing, and also the desire to participate in organizations focused on leadership roles. When I started thinking about what I wanted to do with my life, I knew that nursing would be the profession for me. Baptist Health College- Little Rock, the college that I plan on attending, provides a rigorous registered nursing program for students interested in the field. Instead of taking the traditional college route and residing at a university for four years, it would much more beneficial to stay at home and commute to and from school. I wouldn’t have to take unnecessary classes that do not correlate with my degree, and I would be able to finish school within three years. If I would be able to make a difference in someone’s life, it would be worth learning the necessary sciences required for becoming a nurse. Along with my constant desire to succeed during high school, I believe I display the qualities of a student that deserves this
