Though my educational career in high school is soon coming to a close, my educational opportunities for the future is now opening, allowing me to see endless opportunities that are available to me. I plan on attending Bemidji State University and furthering my education to attain my Bachelor in Arts by majoring in English. I decided on becoming an English Major because it is a subject that I’ve always loved and there are a myriad of occupation options that this major can make available to me. With my degree the possibilities for my future are limitless. My major will allow me to have the background knowledge of English and writing techniques that, in return, will help me successfully write the works of fiction and the works of nonfiction for
