I decided that I wanted to dive into everything from painting to chemistry, and I wanted to be great at it all. Did I succeed in becoming the master of all subjects? Obviously not, I've had areas I wasn't skilled in, but I did learn as much as possible from every subject, and I tried my hardest in subjects that I loved.

I believe that challenging yourself in every subject makes someone truly get the most out of school. Pushing yourself equally in the sciences and in the arts is how a student gains an important set of skills that balances the analytical and creative parts of the brain. I have learned from my four years of high school that the best way to approach a problem is with both the rational and artistic part of your mind. I can use math skills to help make stimulating art, and creating skills to engineer in science, because I fully understand each type of learning.
How can I apply this now? Well, I want to be a high school science teacher, so I believe all my interests will be important in creating the best classroom I can.
