Why I Chose A College

School is something that I, myself, needed to work really hard in so that in the future I wouldnʻt need to worry about getting into a great college. Growing up, my family is the main people who encouraged and inspired me to work hard, strive for excellence, and to never settle for less than what I deserve. Living in a small community like Kona is something that has also had a huge impact in my life. The diversity of cultures and the great hospitality that everyone has on the island is what made me who I am, to be someone who can be a great influence on those around me and to inspire others not only in my community but to everyone around the world.

During college I plan to get degrees in human rights, international development, international affairs and social policies. Many of the things that I can get done now is to get good grades in school by studying more, and to always ask for help in class when needed. I also plan to volunteer and do internships throughout the community to expand my experience. In conclusion, I will focus on getting good grades and volunteering abroad. I will make sure to do good in school to maintain a high GPA so I can achieve my goals and get a good education. All in all, I plan to work really hard to strive for excellence and to ensure that I am prepared to go to college and pursue in the career I choose.
