I know the roads and stores in San Diego, I have visited the SDSU campus at least once a year, for tours, sporting events or concerts. Without the anxiety of a new environment about allows me to focus on my studies. The idea of a well-balanced, high quality education that extends to the development of economic, political, and social institutions is one I also share. Through the courses I have taken and my own interests, I see that I have been striving towards a higher-learning like SDSU. The university I choose to pursue higher education is one where I will be able to explore critical thinking, further intellectual and creative development. Not only do I want to be able to become an intellectual, but an informed citizen in sense of economics, politics and world issues. I feel that SDSU would be a vessel for me to reach my goals of just becoming a “renaissance woman,” well-rounded and knowledgeable in many

To the Thomas Conway & Della Well Frier Scholarship Committee; As an incoming-transfer student who is coming to NAU to continue his education towards becoming a future educator in our state and nations education system, I believe that NAU will assist in the perfection and preparation towards the scientific and social welfare of man. I believe this, because education itself is the backbone of society. It has leaders inspire future leaders in all fields, whether it be STEM field’s, where scientific and engineering advances are growing at faster rates than the news can report them; or social-science and welfare fields, where individuals are understanding the human mind better than before.…

Howard University guarantees their students a very well-rounded education, while still letting them dive into the beauty of their majors. As a Howard student, I will be able to reach my full potential intellectually and socially and strive for success in my intended field of study, Political Science. I’ve been interested in political science for a long time and what intrigued me the most was that I would be learning more about other countries and focusing on their cultures, belief systems, and stances on various international issues and crises. As well as an in-depth look at domestic politics and this country’s government, which goes perfectly with Howard’s convenient location in Washington, D.C. the home of Capitol Hill, The White House, and 177 foreign embassies.…

To be immersed in a culture I've only gotten glimpses of would be sensational. But my desire to attend CSM travels far deeper than just the location of the school. The unrivaled connections CSM maintains; the sandwich program, allowing full development; the PPD Program, in preparation for anything and everything; the professors, still active in the field and therefore knowledgeable on society's demands, and the extensive, notable list of alumni. Anna-Nicole Ziesche, one of CSM's tutors who comes to mind is a perfect example of whom I would cherish to be educated by as she is both a knowledgeable tutor and an influential artist. CSM is not only a magnet for attracting incredible professors but also eager students who then develop into accomplished alumni.…

Everywhere I go, I see the school emblem of the University and the familiar cardinal and white colors. Despite growing up and having a fondness for my old state, California, UW-Madison has captured my attention as a community which I long to be a part of. With the welcoming atmosphere and the ability to discuss current issues anywhere on campus, I can easily fit into the community. As an Asian-American, as an LGBTQ+ individual, as a driven and motivated student, UW-Madison seems to be the logical choice.…

I decided to apply to this University because I wanted to be a student of a college that would not only give me the information that I need to be successful in my future career, but would also give me life experiences and prepare me for living in the world as an adult. I grew up in a small town and I want a change of scenery. I want to have more opportunities to meet and work with a variety of people and I believe that this college can give me these opportunities because it is a large, public college. I like that this college is in a more urban setting instead of a city and that it is not too far away from home. Although this is a larger school, the class sizes are not too big, so I would still be able to have one-on-one time with the teacher…
