I’m proud to be in America because, we have the freedom of religion. For example we can believe and worship whoever we want. We also have freedom of speech. For instance we can give opinions about our government and people of America. We have the right of petition, which is awesome. For example we can ask the government to pass laws. We have the right to get off of a show stage whenever you want. For instance If they are going to pour gasoline around you, you can just jump off of the stage, which I am very thankful for. An interesting trivia about America, is that the 50 stars on the American flag represent the 50 states in America.

I am also proud that I am in America because it is the land of opportunities. That means that I can be a Doctor, and you can be a Fireman, if you wanted to. Other continents, like Germany, usually pick what you are going to be when you are older. Of course, there are some limits. You can’t be a person who does something illegal, behind the NSA’s back.…

What the American Flag Means to me Everytime I see an american flag I can’t help but think about how great our country is. After all, flags are all about representation. A synonym for flag is banner, and all the ones that are not for decoration are emblems. The flag that I see the most is the american flag, and when I look at the colors of the United States flag every morning when we say the pledge of allegiance at school, I think about about the republic that it stands for as well as the liberty and justice that we have.…

The reason believe in America is because,I think I will have a better education in America because, I used to live in Mexico and it didn’t really have good schools like America does!Because, for example on Mexico we only went for 5 hours to school, which wasn’t really enough time per day to learn. On America, we go to school for 9 hours. I believe I will have a better education in America because it has better chances to go to college and get degrees. But there’s people that don’t believe in America they prefer where they used to live than to live on America. For example, I know that I can have better education here on America because my sister goes to school here and she has a better education because she is on nursing classes.…

America gave us great gifts that allow us to be who we are and do what we do. Our freedom of religion, and our freedom to protest (as long as it’s peaceful), were two gifts America has provided us with. I feel that everyone who possesses these gifts, takes them for granted, until they lose them. To be able to have freedom to do so many things makes us so blessed, so much more than I ever imagined. People fought for our freedom, to give us everything we have, people don’t realize this until they think about it.…

America is the country of the free, brave, and considerate. I believe that America gives people opportunities to pursue happiness, evolve lives, and shape the future into a better less catastrophic society. Ralph Waldo Emerson said that “America is another name for opportunity.” America could change the fate of people who inhabit this country and those who don’t. Everytime I walk into school, I feel strongly grateful for my freedom to learn and to participate in extracurricular activities because many girls in other countries don’t have the alternative to assimilate the proper statistics needed in life.…
