Who am I? That’s a very simple question yet it’s very hard to tell people who you really are. Every first week of school, teachers regularly like to get to know their new students. Teachers ask, “Where did you come from? What are your hobbies? Are you new to the school?” And most occasionally , “What did you do during your summer break?” Whenever a teacher asks me “ Tell me about yourself” or “ Who are you? I always get to find out something new about myself. How you may ask? I’m the type of person who gives different characteristic about myself to one of my teacher, which gives me a little time to brainstorm a little bit more about myself. So you might be wondering, “So who are you Diane? What makes you, you?” Well reader, I hope you sit back and relax because this is the part where I will tell you who I am.

There is a certain thrill and anxiety linked with growing up. As my sixteen year old self was beginning to feel a pressure that propelled me into the real world, her habits of just doing the surface level of work and relying on others would be pushed. You wouldn't believe the transformation and growth I’ve made from the person I was when I started high school three years ago. At 13 years old, I had a “rinse and repeat” lifestyle; my life revolved around my friends, the gym, and video games. I never listened when my siblings or parents tried to guide me in the right direction. I was a teacher's worst nightmare, slacking off, cutting class, and constantly being disruptive. All my friends messed around, so I thought, “Why can’t I?…

This essay is the hardest one that I never have, because I have to write about myself . Maybe because I don 't know what I want to say, I am not sure where to start, or I 'm nervous of what I have to say will come across as bragging or worse boring. It usually hard to see perspectives and/or details about oneself because they are subjective, but then there are some people who can. It especially difficult if you have a very humble character or have a low self esteem and think that there is nothing special about yourself. However, in this essay I asked multiple people for inspiration until I got enough to come up with the bare minimum.…
