I have always loved children. I tend to form very nice relationships with children, but my decision to become a teacher is so much more than that. I want to give every child in this world equal opportunity. In some situations school is the only time children feel safe, and have a full meal. I want to be that role model that they remember ten years because I left that impact in their life. Teaching isn’t a profession you go into for the money or because it’s just a job. In order to be a pusher and spark the fires under each little butt it starts with an idea, a goal, and ends with the accomplishment. This all begins with an idea and how realistic one actually believes it could be. Every student has their own ideas. Every idea is realistic as long as you have the mindset. I want to be able to build my students to the point where they feel content with their ideas; LeoNora M. Cohen says, “In idealism, the aim of education is to discover and develop each individual 's abilities and full moral excellence in order to better serve society.”(Cohen) The ideas and thought going on in such young brains is going to go beyond the classroom and those walls.
