I still remember when I played with my younger brother and sister a game called, “escuelita” (little school). I always told them that I wanted to be the teacher. As I was learning more in my elementary school years, what it was a great game for me, began to turn into a goal for my life. I think in some way I always wanted to be a teacher, I remember how I liked helping my younger brothers and sister with their homework and review with them their lessons so they could have good grades. As I was growing I was very patient to listen to my classmates and give them some kind of advice (academically and personal). When my teacher used to pick me to be their helper, I always enjoyed it, helping others students was always fun and satisfactory for me.

I don’t want to be only a teacher who teaches Spanish, I want to be a teacher who can provide to their students confidence and support. I dream in a classroom where when the students get into they can feel loved, care, and happy. I dream in a beautiful classroom full of optimistic students that are ready to learn a beautiful language and are happy to be there. I would encourage my future students that with dedication, effort and patience they can achieve and their dreams. My goals are to be a Spanish teacher whom not only teach the language but also to transform the lives of my students, I want them to know that I will learn from them too, I want them when they leave my class they can be satisfied not only with what they learned from the new language but also grow up in social and moral skills. I would like to left a footmark on their lives, I hope they can remember me as a teacher who gave them lots of advice and support and that in one moment make good difference in their lives, I would like that they remember me in the same way I remember my teacher Lupita as a supportive, enthusiast, encourage, respectful and caring teacher. This dream is getting closer, and I know when I achieved my dreams I am going to feel completely happy to make a good influence in many young people, and say to myself is was worth it, because for me to be a teacher
