Why/How does the issue impact teenagers? A third reason racism impacts teenagers is because it leads to poor health for some. The definition of health is someone's mental or physical condition, so when a person’s mental condition is low they have poor health. Racism can eat away at a person’s brain and destroy their confidence which can take their metal condition from up high to down low quite easy depending on the person. Not just the person who is being discriminated is affected by this, but it could affect his/her friends view on them, as well as his/her family’s view on them if they start acting differently.
