The homework policy should be that the quality of work would help students learn and help them look over sources that have to do with their work, encouraging them to read more in depth and make the assignment challenging, but also, help them learn the concept. The problem with homework is the amount assigned is what teachers think would help students, but it’s mostly just copying from their textbooks and changing it in their own words which can help, but it’s not as reliable. Teachers should change the structure of homework by not just adding more to write, but have the students question the work, and learn something after finished with homework.
