Why High School Should Start Later

Most teenagers experience a change in their internal sleep clock which makes waking up early and going to sleep early difficult. High school classes should begin later in the day to accommodate students’ natural sleep clock. Sleep is a very important part of our health. Going without the right amount of sleep can affect our bodies negatively physically and mentally. High school classes should begin later in the day because students will get the healthy amount of sleep they need, some students could be more motivated, and it will be easier for them to work. By starting classes later in the day, high school students will be getting just the right amount of sleep. As I stated before, sleep plays a vital role in our overall health. When
