There have been many incidences where if guns were banned on campus they would have never occurred, like in 2013 where a student who attended the University of Southern Mississippi accidently shot himself while in his car at the university, or the college professor Idaho State University in 2014 who shot himself in the foot in the middle of class by accident (thertrace/moregunsmorrefatal). There is also that issue that when colleges allow guns on their campus, can cause students to escalate their arguments into lethal reinforcement; like when a fraternity fight broke out at Northern Arizona University, and one of the individuals went to his vehicle and begin to open fire, killing one and injuring three others, another incident occurred at Texas Southern University, where another individual killed one person and wounded and innocence bystander
