Why Guns Should Be Abolished

Our founding fathers dedicated their time to construct the best possible rights that citizens could be entitled to, these rights are known as our Constitution. The Constitution was made in order to list the appropriate rights that each American was promised, which includes the Second Amendment, known as the right to bear arms. The right to bear arms is allowing any American citizen to protect themselves and their families, whether they possess guns, or any other type of weapon. Sure, there are precautions that are taken when owning weaponry, and laws that modify the appropriate times that bearing arms is necessary, however the Constitution has always promised that guns are legal. Due to recent mass killings and gun related deaths increasing, some Americans have lead to the conclusion that guns should be eliminated in the United States, and the Second Amendment should be abolished, however there is no way that our amendments should be taken away. Our gun rights should remain simply because, our Constitution promises the right to bear arms, guns provide a sense of safety and protection for citizens, background checks can be set to prevent gun related issues, and overall it will keep away anymore controversy over this issue.

If the government did abolish the Second Amendment, there is no way that Americans would not get any guns. The government would not just be dealing with angry citizens who illegally buy guns, there would most likely be numerous protests and petitions that would fight against the abolishment.
