Timed writing What i'm going to talk about is that why some people think it’s better to grow up in a small town instead of a big city. There are lots of reasons why people would rather grow up in a small town instead of a big city but i am just going to go over the basics.…
Big World Problems, Small Town Living Grover’s Corner, New Hampshire, the prototypical small town of America. Quiet, undisturbed, relaxing, and friendly describe Grover’s Corner perfectly. Of course, not everyone’s life style suits a life away from all the excitement that the world has to offer. Small town living may not allow for people to spend an elaborate night on the town in a grand place but it does give citizens the chance of growing close to a community that loves and cares about each other.…
My community is small and we all grow up together, all the children went to the same school and everyone had a great connection. I learn to have a connection with the people in my school like no other, we all more up together. In addition, I went with the same peers for most of my education career and it may not be traditional but it was a chance to know my peers in a deeper level. I learn that everyone has something they carry no matter if you think you have someone all figure out.…
Application of Effective Communication – TJP1 Mallory McLean Western Governors University Student ID # 000596676 I. Introduction 1. Hook: Most adults in our country obese. This is also an alarming statistic showing in our children. Research shows that when you have obese parents their children are more likely to be overweight as well. This trend needs to change.…
Almost nothing good comes from public schools. I hear that public school is a place where fights, drugs, shootings, and terrible teachers can happen. Only one thing good comes from public schools, all kids can go to get some education and parents can go to work then. I see schools as necessary but need more improvement. Parents have to deal with their kids bad attitudes that they can pick up from school.…
College or Nah Did you go to college, or are you planing on going to college? College education is necessary for getting a good job because its easer to get a job, when students go to college their wages automatically increase, and students can expand their social circle and their knowledge. First of all, when you go to college looking for a job becomes easier many jobs require a degree such as doctor, teacher, and even lawyer. Going through college shows different job ideas through that, it shows different likes and dislikes. When people look at a job application they look at the college degree and that might help with what position you receive.…
I was born and raised in Perryville, Missouri a small town that has one public school and one private school. My father being the Principal of the public high school, that is where my parents enrolled my brothers and I. From kindergarten to 12th grade I would call Perry County District #32 my educational home. If only we lived in a perfect world the Public School System would be ideal. Sitting in my fourth grade classroom staring at the dingy walls wondering why I am reading word after word on every page. Looking up on occasion glancing past my teacher, looking out the window, seeing the other children white knuckle gripping the monkey bars, and wondering why we are not outside doing the same activities.…
“Even prison would be better than school.” The amount of students that have most likely said this at one point in their life is probably quite significant. Everyone likes to compare what they have to what someone else has, it’s natural. Let’s take students and prisoners for example; students seem like they would do anything and everything just to avoid school, even when prison is an option. On the other hand, I’m sure prisoners wouldn’t mind a second chance at life and the choice of going to school.…
I believe that moving schools can be life changing and affect your grade once summer's over or your in the middle of the school year. I was only seven and I was the best reader in class and I really enjoyed it and I was so smart and nothing could stop me. I could/was able to read so many books in a week it was crazy.…
Smaller colleges are better because they’re smaller classes and can have more communication with the professor and other classmates. Smaller schools help students prepare for what they want to major in when they get ready for a school that has the class they can major and get their degree. In small colleges the building is smaller and so are the classes. There is more communication between the students.…
Is it really better to grow up in a small town rather than larger city? Statistics show that more people graduate from a bigger city. Many will argue this is because there is larger amount of people attending that particular school. Although that is true I also believe more people are accepted because of the broad learning experiences that you are able to experience. More people graduate from a bigger city school because the diversity is 2x better, more learning experiences, and you have more exposure to a variety of things.…
Everyone has an opinion about how their children should grow up. In a small scaled metropolis or in the enormous municipality which is better. My position on this matter is a located in a small scaled metropolis. Where everyone knows everyone. Where your children can have fun and do awesome daring stunts and try everything that pops in their head.…
Some people believe it's better to grow up in a small town, but others think differently. I like smaller towns because everybody knows everybody, in school you may be able to get extra help that you need, and people usually have similar career types. In small towns you get the chance to know everybody. Throughout your small town you can grow up with just about everyone around you. You can take up the same hobbies as them and do things together such as hunting, fishing, and possibly sport if you want to play them.…
Some people believe that homeschooling is better because they are in control of what their child learns, and others believe that public schooling is better because it allows their child to expand as a person and be in the world without their parents.…
Living in different places has its own perks and disadvantages, but one will always outweigh the other. Living in a big city, although I haven’t done it for a long period of time before, is far better than living in a small town for many reasons such as the schooling, resources, job opportunities, and the health of a person. Things like public transportation or restaurants you’d never find near a small town. Even the schooling can be better when attending a school in large urban areas. The jobs in these cities are in a large abundance in most cases that is.…
