Going to college is important to some people and to other people it might not be. My opinion about going to college and getting a college degree is that it’s important to go. College is key to getting a good job and earning money. Here are some reasons why getting a college degree is important. The reason why I think that going to college is important is so that you can do your dream job and start doing what you wanted to do. But you don’t have to go to college depending on what you want to do because some jobs you don’t need a college degree. Going to college and getting your college degree means that you are most likely to get a better job and once you get a good job you will get paid more money than a job that you don’t need a college degree for most likely. The average pay of men/women over the age of 25 who have high school diplomas get paid around $652/ week and people with bachelor’s degrees get paid around $1,300/week. College graduates earned an annual average of $20,300 more than high school graduates over the past four decades. …show more content…

People who go to college and graduate have a higher chance of getting a job where they want because you have better chances of getting hired. The reason why you are most likely to get hired at the job you want is because once you apply for a job the people who will hire you will look to see if you have a college degree depending on the type of job you apply for.
