Why I wanna go to college is because I want to be able to take care and retire in the future. I plan to join the air force after I get my bachelor's degree in nursing. I understand that a college education is very important in this world, even though you do not need it to be successful. Both of my parents went to college, and they provide for me and my brother well. College is key to a better life if you're willing to put the work in.
Having a college degree opens many opportunities and chances to different jobs. Also, it allows you to earn bigger salaries throughout your career. Studies show that a person with a Bachelor's degree can make millions of dollars over their lifetime than someone that has only a high school diploma. For example, two people are applying for a job and one person has a high school diploma and the other has an associate's degree; the person with the associate's degree is mostly get hired over the other. Someone once told me,’’ If people don’t scoff at your dreams they're not big enough.” A quote that inspired me the first time I had seen it was by Milton Berle saying;” If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door. Meaning if you don't work for what you want or do not put any effort into what you want then, you will not have the result you want. I don't want my kids living in bad situations or struggling growing up. Having a college degree will prevent that problem a lot, therefor I will attend college and inforce my children to
