Why go to college? It has been known that many go for the reason of earning a higher salary but it offers many other benefits that just that one. One benefit of attending college is that students can better prepare themselves to live in a world of diversity. For instance, a higher education can equip someone for a broader future when it comes down to meeting others with different backgrounds, lifestyles, and ways of thinking that are entirely different from their own. Another benefit of college is that it teaches a person to think critically and communicate better. Education will spark a persons’ curiosity about the world and a person will want to see what’s out there and what they are missing out on. A journey, that allows many benefits other than just a better salary, that so many are blind to. Mind soothing, breathtaking, spine tingling, education tears down many strong holds of being confined to a certain area and opening many doors that reaches unlimited possibilities.
