I’ve always been a firm believer that college is what you make out of it. As someone who is not a traditional student just getting to UL has been a massive achievement for me. I left school at a young age, thirteen, due to health reasons. However returning to education was always something that I wanted to do. Since I was 18 years old I’ve had a burning desire to attend college; now at 46 years old the dream of a college education has become a reality. Although with a wife and two wonderful sons; and a full time job it has been a very exciting and also challenging period in my life. One of the most exciting aspects for me starting college is learning new things from module to module, and applying the lessons learned into daily use, within the course studies and at my current company.
