This is my rebuttal to the article “Why Gambling Should Be Illegal” by Amerton.
Jackpot! The sound of the machine spitting chips out worth thousands of dollars. An excited gambler takes a sip of scotch and smiles. Government’s through statistical and economic data have been shown to have an unmatched increase in growth and gambling privilege taxes which benefits the entire city and surrounding region. New books and freshly Brown 3 paved roads aren’t something that is paid for by itself. Gambling and the taxes from it go directly towards the maintenance and new development of areas. As a human right the money that is earned by the people of this nation should be used in any manner that they see fit. Whether the argument can be made about binge gamblers, gambling is ultimately a choice and one that has been proven to give us thrill and enjoyment. Finally, the unemployment rate in states fluctuates like the weather on a summer day in Florida. Maintaining the rate and also looking to increase it over time as a realistic economic goal with the legalization of gambling.
