Four Loko was a very popular alcoholic energy drink among adolescents and young adults. However, In 2010, a significant number of injuries and accidents were the result of Four Loko (Pearce, Zamboanga, & Tyne 2012). The effects of this drink were so bad that a number of colleges banned the drink. During the same year, there have been two wrongful death lawsuits filed against the maker of the Four Loko The lawsuits both involved underage drinkers. Although the combination of caffeine and alcohol can be dangerous, not all caffeinated drinks are. The only way caffeinated alcoholic drinks are dangerous is when drinks consume too much of the drink. If they were to drink responsibly, there would be no problem. There are a large number of people who drink alcohol and are safe. Caffeine alcoholic drinks do not cause negative effects taking one sip of the drink. It depends on how the person drinks. A lot od college students and teens die from alcohol poisoning. Whether caffeine alcoholic drinks are banned or not, people are still dying from consuming too much alcohol. So what would be the point? College students will continue to drink
