As the 2016 election approaches, the presidential candidates and citizens await the decision of who will be the next leader of the United States of America. Donald Trump, a republican candidate, should not be elected president due to his immigration policy. After reading the book Just Like Us, by Helen Thorpe, Donald Trump is surely the wrong candidate. The immigration policy of Donald trump, is not a feasible and realistic policy. The policy will not move our nation forward in the quest to repair an increasingly conflict-ridden immigration system because his policy is racist, he plans to deport millions of people, and it is simply unrealistic.…

So the question must be asked; do we really want this man as our next Commander in Chief? As far as eligibility, Donald Trump meets all requirements for a presidential candidate, but many people find his actions unpresidential. This is mostly related to the crude things he has been known to see over the past couple of months. For example, speaking one day in Iowa, Donald Trump said, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose voters,” (Source 5). Donald Trump was looked down upon for this comment and definitely not the over-confidence that should be found in a President.…

Donald Trump should not be president for the year 2016. First of all, what amazingly beneficial things will he do for America? He is a republican; he cares not for America and all of her citizens but for money and if he becomes president America will be ruined. Trump is not a man with the experience of war, or being in charge of a whole country and all the people in it, but a man of business and economy. Also if he is elected for the leader of our country, and if he has the generosity, he could get all of the citizens of America out of debt.…

I would consider the article “ Donald Trump for President” as the more effective because it uses examples to support its argument why the author is voting for Donald Trump. The author mentions that Clinton will follow the same path of president Obama, and will increase the U.S’s debt. However, Trump will bring corporations, create new jobs, and advocate for lower taxes, and will lead to the prosperity of the county. Also, this article mentions the first and second amendment that could appeal to people who have a strong believe in those amendments, as the author mentions, “ The individual right to bear arms would be a likely casualty of a Clinton presidency.” People will believe that the amendments should not be change.…
