What pet is the most beneficial to their owners? Dogs, man's best friend received this nickname with good reason. Dogs have lived and evolved with people for a long time, and now there are 70 million of these domestic canines in the US alone. Many studies have shown how beneficial dogs are to their owners. This is because dogs make us healthier. They help improve physical and mental health. They reduce stress, decrease loneliness, and dogs help children develop social and cognitive skills. Dogs increase physical activity to make their owners healthier. Dogs are the most beneficial pets to your health.
