The question that this experiment helped me answer was what makes ice melt faster salt or sugar. My hypothesis was if I pour ice with salt, then the ice amount of ice will be more because salt has more molecules than sugar does. In this experiment, I had to pour salt with ice and sugar with ice. Then you needed to place them in the fridge and wait one hour till one bowl of ice is halfway melted. Then I had to pour all the water out into a measuring cup but, had to keep the ice’s in the bowl. Then I had to record the data on how much was melted in the fridge. Then I needed to leave the ice cubes, at room temperature and let them all melt.
