I am reading To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee and I am on page 207. So far this book is about Jem getting in trouble, and having to read to Mrs. Dubose is his punishment. Calpurnia is watching Jem and Scout for a while. In this Journal I will be questioning and evaluating.

G- I have 2 questions Y- Why did the mob leave?
R- Atticus was stubborn and strict
R- What Scout says Y- Why did Jem stand up to Atticus?
R- He is 12
R- He sees what Atticus is going through

I have two questions on chapters 10 through 15. My first question is, why did the mob leave the jail? Atticus becomes very stubborn in this scene. The reader can conclude this because Atticus brings his own chair from home to the jail. He
