Do you you think marijuana should or should not be legalized. Why some people think that marijuana is dangerous? What is marijuana? When did marijuana become such a big issue? Who was the first person to say they wanted marijuana legal? There are a lot of questions that are hard to answer. Some people just want it for trivial reasons.Marijuana should not be legalized, because people may abuse the drug, it´s extremely addictive for some people, marijuana bad for your mental and physical health, marijuana is also decimating people´s lives. The first reason why legalizing marijuana is not a great idea is because they probability of children using marijuana or other drugs will raise. Other drugs are prohibited to children under 18-21, depending on the drug, for example alcohol and cigarettes. Children don´t possess the responsibility, reasoning, or judgement that adults have. secondly children don´t possess a strong enough body to handle the intake of the substances. If children were to use marijuana it could take a great toll on not only their bodies, but their minds as well.The reason the government should not legalize marijuana is because it could harm them a lot more than tripping on a shoe lace. …show more content…
First of all marijuana is bad for your heart, it raises the heart rate from 20 to 100 percent for about three hours, for I remind you that it isn´t good to have your heart rate up to 100 percent.Secondly When your heart rate goes up increase the risk of getting health problems, heart palpitations, and a risk of a heart attack. Also the effects marijuana has on the cardiovascular system is a high-risk activity for seniors and others who cardiac conditions.And last but not least, another reason marijuana should not be legalized is because there is a possibility that you could die from a heart attack if not treated
