If anything in my room is somewhere it is not supposed to be, I have to fix it or it will drive me crazy. My tip to you is stay organized and put things where they go. Staying organized helps you in so many ways.

I have worked with diverse groups of people most of my career, including my time in University. I am most comfortable, and happy, in this type of environment because it offers me unique learning opportunities. I have found, in the past, that I work well in an individually driven environment; however, I can certainly be productive in a team based setting as well.…

I believe that there is a present stereotype that becoming familiar with time management and organization requires an individual to set self-restraining routine to complete daily tasks. As a result, this causes them to give up the finer things. This presumption alone could prompt someone to consider that highly organized people are uninteresting, uptight, “neat-freaks” who are always striving to be perfect in everything they do and are too preoccupied to pay attention to anything else. However, I have to disagree. I see getting rid of spontaneity and acquiring these abilities as a stepping stone towards a more productive and enjoyable life.…

I would also get rid of all of the crumbs of food that my sister always drops when she eats in my room. I could also get rid of the trash cans in my room because I barely use them. Another way I could…

“Oh, I’m have to keep my room organized. I am so OCD.” Commonalities such as this one are frequently misused by many people - most of whom are people who do not even have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder or simply have not been educated about what the disorder actually is. OCD is oftentimes seen as simply a facet of every person’s personality that makes him or her desire to keep things clean or organized a certain way. Although a symptom of some people’s OCD can be related to organization, their compulsions tend to be more complex, long-lasting, and detrimental; sometimes including compulsions that can last upwards of an hour (Fennell 1).…

While I try to keep my school work organized and neat, I tend to put less of a stress on doing the same for my personal items. You see, after school has ended and I've finished sports practice, I'm usually sluggish and indolent. To try to give you a picture in your head of what my room looks like daily, I ask you to google "aftermath of World War I." While changing my habits may be hard, I think one way I can keep my items at home neat would be to be more careful after school with all of my items and try not to misplace anything. I could also decide on a day to take time aside, and clean everything in my room and organize all of my items. I'm sure if I had the willingness and resolve to really try to prevent my room from becoming untidy, I wouldn't have the…

(ii.) It is ultimately up to the individual students to put these skills to use in school and the real world, however, it should be the educators duty to show the importance of organization and teach students how it can work for them. It is dangerous to assume that students will learn this on their own or at home. Parents should certainly play a role in teaching their children these things, but it should be insured that they have enough exposure to it by routinely teaching it in schools. Organizational skills are usually learned at a young age for the most part, but it is still very important to reinforce these skills by attempting to make sure students are practicing them throughout high school.…
