Why Do We Need The Military Persuasive Essay

Imagine it’s barely the crack of dawn the sun hasn’t even risen yet you're sitting at your post watching and waiting. Then you hear he first shot and all of the sudden as the sun rises you see on the horizon the battle that is rapidly unfolding. You continue to watch what is happening around you there are all of your friends and allies fighting for their lives and their country. What do you do? This is a situation thousands of people fighting or have fought for our country have been in been they have hopped into the action and aided their friends in battle, but what would you have done in their shoes? We today are facing a huge problem in our country’s protection. Less and less people are going into the military and that is a setup for big problems for the future of america. however we are beginning to have less need for people and more need for technology. I think that this does not mean that we need to have more people in the military, because I personally do not believe war is or should ever be an option. In the past almost every man was to go to war it seemed as if there was no other option. It seemed as if nearly all men were heavily pressured to enlist in the military but now only five percent of people in america are enlisted, which isn’t exactly a bad thing. Because war is not necessary we don’t need to have all these big guns and bombs. All we need to do is get along as a whole. If there were no hate between countries we would not have any issues. In past centuries when people would go to war it would not be very impactful as it is in our current state.
