One could be very well off without a purpose, simply living their life to the fullest. No matter the amount of knowledge, a person without a plan is a being who lacks a purpose. Using deduction once more, we can evaluate a possibility that if the person lacks a stimulus, they would not be motivated and therefore will never achieve something in life. This very statement however, runs on the same assumption that the term “purpose” is defined as a path one should follow, and that we, humans, only act based on a stimulus. With this, there also arises the scope of the question, and the definition of “purpose” no two answers from different people would be the same, as we all view the world in a different way. I regard “purpose” as a path in life, one that you discover as time goes by. Others however, may disagree with my interpretation and argue that it is in reference to religion, and that that if there were no creator, humans would simply be products of a thermodynamic system. Knowledge is there to spark development, to spark mental activity and to spark interest. Education is a system made for children designed to help them shape a meaning and purpose in life. Each way of knowing seeks to enhance our lives and provide and insight for our future. The more knowledge an individual can grasp, the more meaning he will have. I was taught that knowledge is the key; it will shape who you are in the future, it will carve your decisions, and lastly create a path which you will soon follow. Knowledge can produce and create, but knowledge is not
