Has lying influenced the individuals that we are today. Over the course of the past week i have been keeping a lying journal on the amount of times i would lie. Analyzing my daily results, I have came to the conclusion that i told sweet little lies more then anything else. “ They make it easier for people to get along.” - Bella Depaulo. Is it something we all have grown accustomed to but why do we lie? Is it a copping mechanism or is it to comfort the feelings of others to the statement that we are about to say.

However, I do believe that lying has become quite common and sort of natural to our daily routine. Before I started keeping track of my lying journal, I had a lot more lies under my belt. Which
