The second amendment was added to the United States constitution on December, 15, 1791 along with other amendments and bill of rights .The amendment states “ A well-regulated militia ,being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed “. Citizens believe still state that the amendment does not grant any right to bear arms , It mostly states as a reminder to the government that they should not try to stop people from having this right .As an American citizen I totally agree. They currently passed a federal law stating that the use of any fire arm in a violent or drug trafficking crime is punishable by law. The minimum age to purchase a rifle or shot gun the person must be eighteen years old. You must be twenty- one years or older to purchase a hand gun. Those laws too many Americans seems to not be strict enough or others feel many Americans really don’t need guns at all because of the police and or security as far as business wise. While others say what about protection for home, and traveling. American citizens must understand that the laws for guns will not affectively or truly save
