Abortion is one of those topics you don’t just bring up at the dinner table. Abortion shouldn’t be done at free will. There should be boundaries set into place when dealing with this issue. If someone is dying while carrying the child they should have the option to abort. If a person was forced to have sex, without consent, and they got pregnant, they should be allowed to abort the baby if they choose too.…

In terms of life and death, the government has no say. Abortion is already a taxing ordeal on the mother and her family, and forcing them to choose the baby over the mother isn’t fair. A fetus isn’t sentient while it’s in the womb, and claiming otherwise shows a lack of understanding of how life works. Because of these reasons, the choice of a late term abortion is a decision that should be made by the mother, and her alone.…

Each year between forty and fifty million abortions occur, that 's an estimated 125,000 deaths every day just from abortions. This is a very emotional topic as it deals with the life of a precious baby in which the child 's life is in the hands of its mother who has the option to have the child or kill it before it 's even born. Although abortion is ending a human life before it had a chance to start and should require extremely heavy measures to ensure that only those who need one receive one, 1.06 million were carried out in America alone in 2011. The American government is extremely lax on this issue, and millions of lives are being extinguished because of it. For one thing, a woman would have more trouble buying a gun then receiving an abortion. On top of this, doctor’s have a sworn oath to protect human life. The law even contradicts itself with the subject of abortion.…

As the Constitution has laid out for us, the Supreme Court is the highest judicial power, and has the ultimate say over “all cases in law and equality, arising under the Constitution, and the laws of the United States” (The Constitution of the United States, article III section 2). This authority allowed the Supreme Court to make the decision to legalize abortions (Wikipedia.org, paragraph 1). This decision came from the ruling of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton cases in 1973 (Wikipedia.org, paragraph 1). The court established that having an abortion is a woman’s right to privacy under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution, but it left it up to the states to regulate abortion procedures (Wikipedia.org, paragraph 1).…

Since 1760 BC, abortions have been sought-out internationally. There are a variety of reasons for them: because sexually abused women do not desire for guardianship of the child, females do not want their body to be unfit because of pregnancy, or it was a careless mistake that could have been prevented with birth control or any other prevention method. Many women have nonessential abortions. One quintessential example of this is in China; they kill fetuses if the sonogram proves the unborn child to be female. Abortions should be illegal because it is unjust and purposeless slaughter to the unborn human being.…

The definition of an abortion is the process of ending a woman’s pregnancy by the termination of an embryo or fetus inside the mother’s womb (Pros and Cons Abortion). During the process of an abortion, the unborn child is not treated as a human being. The baby is treated as a nuisance; it is not given the proper care, it is regarded as a nonliving thing (Abortion Facts). Abortion is not the only method to take when a mother is confused by her feelings about the pregnancy for how her pregnancy came about (Arguments about Abortion).
