The play Macbeth was written in 1606 by William Shakespeare in the Renaissance period. Macbeth was a noble man that was told by the witches that he will rule and become king one day. Thinking about having all of that power Lady Macbeth got into his head about killing King Duncan. After he killed the king, he became the new king and all that power drove him mad. He had no innocence, he killed people just for power. Jack is somewhat the same way, he went from being a proper British boy to a complete savage. Since there were no adults to tell him what to do, he took matters into his own hands and tried anything and everything to have all the power. There was no innocence inside him anymore because of the mask that he made, it made him a completely
