It says “everybody’s going to the party, have a real good time, dancing in the desert, blowing up the sunshine.” The party being the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Recruiters for the military are trying to make it seem like a party to get people to join. They act like its nothing to join up and go to war. “Dancing in the desert” is the military fighting in the desert, dodging bullets and bombs. It could also mean the military celebrating after a successful mission. Bombs go off all the time and that could be where we get the “blowing up the sunshine.” Bombs going off could look like you are literally blowing up the sunshine. Could also imply that the war is taking away peoples good moods and
