Do violence video games make children behavior become less aggressive forward others? Today’s technology is advancing constantly to the point where it is well known to the social economic especially young teenagers. In a study, “Violent video games and delinquent behavior in adolescents: A risk factor perspective, the authors mention about an online survey done by “3,372 Flemish adolescents, aged 12-18 years old.” The survey results concluded that violent video games have made huge contribution risks known as “peer delinquency, sensation seeking, prior victimization, and alienation.” Many people might argue that by focusing on playing too much violent video games are taking teenagers away from face-to-face interactions and expressing their …show more content…
Teenagers are usually having no self-discipline when it comes to playing violence video games. Since, violence video game plays an important role factor in their daily life. For example, I have a younger brother, who loves to play violent video games. Every single time, when he came home from school, he would lie to my parents that he finished all of his assignments at school. My brother was careless about the school work, and he was failing most of his classes. Instead, he wanted to use the spare time to play his killing action games; he literally stayed up all night to play it. He would actually turn off the light in his room and pretended go to sleep; he waited until everyone was asleep to continue to play it. One time in the middle of the night around two or three o’clock in the morning, I woke up and heard loud smashing sound from my brother room, and I was shocked as I opened the door. At the moment, my brother facial express was in deep anger that it seemed like he wanted to kill someone badly. The violent killing video games had made him extremely addicted to a point where it was slowly influencing him to act the same as the characters in the violent video game. This personal example shows the lack of purpose and sends a strong message that violent video games can make an impact on young teens like my brother to be completely vulnerable and …show more content…
Violent video games tend to lead young to performing the lack of communication where they cannot show the full potential of their emotion, body-language, or personalities references to those through small media video game devices. If they create actually physical activities, then it can help them to express the real face-to-face interaction with people. Teenagers can eventually develop aggressive behavior with the influence of playing too much aggressive action video games. This lead them to experience the lack of purpose, since they do not care about the importance of their academic studies instead of choosing play violent action games all day along. Violent video game can make young teenagers intensely aggressive by the exposure with highly intense graphic screen, experiencing the lack of purpose, and virtual interaction can be lost, therefore I
