Although restricting websites at school can help teachers monitor students’ activities on the computer and provides security from thumbnails. It becomes a problem when the perfect site teachers want their students to get information from is blocked. Certainly, web filters are helpful when it comes to monitoring student’s internet activities and protects them from viewing inappropriate websites. If students had access to more educational content, they would be able to learn more during school hours. Also according to the United States Census Bureau 6 out 10 students are involved in extracurricular activities. Which means after school students are doing other things besides school work. Today, only 8% of high school students get enough sleep on an average school night, as there are “not enough hours in the day” to be able to do homework and study, have time with friends and family, and participate in extracurricular activities (Duval). Teenagers also report stress levels that are higher than the majority of adults and 83% of them say that school is a significant source of that stress (Shapiro). The average student is already glued to a desk seven hours a day. Add two to five hours of homework every night (or even more depending on the rigorousness of the course load) and then students are working 45 to 60 hours a week! Both of these numbers come close to or extremely exceed the average 47 hour workweek of an average American adult.…

If students are targeted for this conspiracy, then I 'm highly shocked and appalled. Just because students are being targeted for a spend money campaign, doesn 't mean we 're being blamed for almost everything. The people who created that website are nothing but online soulless evil corporates who destroy and ruin your life. The last pro is that the Internet gives a vast of entertainment (ex. movies, television shows, and video games) sometimes they 're some profane online technologies that some viewers may find offensive, so instead of trying to censor the bad entertainment you don 't find suitable, the just don 't watch it. The last con is that the Internet isn 't capable of censoring all the websites in the world because there 's still some issues with the technologies and some of the…

Coben, the author of “The Undercover Parent,” believes that parents should put spyware on their children’s computers to protect them from the dangers of the internet. Spyware is software that you can download onto any computer that allows you to to monitor everything that your child is doing on that computer. I agree with Coben that parents should monitor their children’s internet use; however, I don’t agree that they should use spyware to do so because it is an invasion of privacy. Parents should monitor their children’s internet use by occasionally checking to see what they are doing online. By monitoring their internet use this way, the children will still have privacy, but their parents still know what they are doing online.…

However, censoring the Internet for children would definitely limit what adults could view and communicate. Preventing your children to have access to inappropriate websites can be achieved without removing the website itself. I strongly believe it is the parent's responsibility to limit the access of the Internet for their children. For example, filtering can be done by parents by making a list of obscene words and phrases, and making the system unable to download the material if those words or phrases are found.…
