Why Do Students Choose To Act Out In Class

Why do students choose to act out in class? This is the question teachers have been asking themselves for years. Is it just the fact that these students do not enjoy school or is it something much deeper than that. The truth of the matter is we may never know the real reason why, but in this essay I will give you ways that can end this problem in schools everywhere. Both students and teachers tend to cross over boundaries and, for this reason we should have stronger punishments in place, teachers should work on building relationships with their students, and students should be reminded not to take education for granted.
First off we will talk about stronger punishments for students if they are not being respectful in class. All classes should have a class syllabus and when the student does not follow the rules of the syllabus is when they should be punished. In the past, I have had teachers that constantly told us how incapable we were and I found this really unmotivating. Frequently this made me want to prove her wrong, so I would try extremely hard and still end up with an unsatisfying grade. Usually, all students want from teachers is for them to teach us how to improve. It appears to be simple enough, but teachers need to make more of an effort to connect with their students because it is beneficial for us to have mentors and role models in our lives. Even though this is not the teacher's job it would make teaching a class a lot easier because students will be more engaged in their learning. Another way this is helpful for students is because they will have someone to use as a reference when trying to get a job. I believe that most students like myself would appreciate better relationships with their teachers and this would improve our school experience
